Costa Rica Anaerobic (RESERVE)
This RESERVE release features an incredible batch of anaerobically processed single origin beans coming from western Costa Rica. Expect notes of wine, pomegranate, grapefruit and cranberry from this batch.
The "anaerobic" process is achieved through something called anaerobic fermentation.
This process involves the coffee cherries being soaked in water and sealed in a zero-oxygen environment to ferment. This allows the coffee to produce unique flavor notes that are more vibrant, sweet and fruit forward compared to standard processing methods.
